Life is... uncooperative. I didn't have time for an update this week, so here's a couple of rare X68000 games for your enjoyment. Reserve is the expanded x68 version of the PC-98 game by the same name. There were a series of Strip Fighter games for the x68, these are two of the later ones. Finally, Doki Doki Amanachan is a simple RPG based around Little Red Riding Hood with an adult twist.

All the above games are over 18 only, and for the x68000 platform not the PC-98.

Site has been redesigned for easier navigation, main addition is frames and some extra catagories. Also, I've begun adding protected disks (FDD) which need to be played using Virtual98. Regrettably, disk tools such as EDITDISK and ANXDIET don't work on them, and VFIC can not convert them to unprotected formats such as FDI. There's no real link to the translated games section at the moment, hopefully I'll figure out where to add that soon.

I posted the following round-up of PC-98 translation projects over at my translation site but I figured more interested people probably visited this site instead. There are currently projects underway to translate Doukyusei and Policenauts. Additionally, I'm going to try to get in contact with Ghideon Zhi from Aeon Genesis translations and see if I can get him to either move the Hiouden project from the SNES to the PC-98, or at least let me use the script.

Someone uploaded some requested games to my FTP, so thanks to them, although they didn't e-mail me, so I'll I have is an IP address. I got an HDI copy of Beast Breeders, a game that refused to install from the TOSEC version. However, the HDI version appears to have problems as well, it starts out at level 23 and refuses to save. I'm not sure if it's a demo version or a damaged copy. If anyone wants to play with it, drop me a line, I don't plan to post it soon, as I try to post only 100% working games.

Someone mailed me informing me that my release of Jiin had a bad disk 4. I looked, and he was correct, the disk there belongs to some other game. I got the Jiin disks directly from the TOSEC archives, so the error is apparently common. If you have a good Jiin disk 4 or the HD version of the game, please contact me. Finally, this week's update will be on May 1st rather than April 30th, as I'm dangerously close to my bandwidth limit for this month.
