/-------------------- Legend of Rouge Guide --------------------/ By Ryo-Cokey (ryocokey@starmail.com) Last Updated: 1/29/05 Legend of Rouge is a 3D RPG released by D.O. The game is similiar to Ikazuchi no Senshi Raidi, in that it is a hentai game of a similiar style featuring a female protagonist. This is a guide to the game, although it is partial, as I haven't played through the game, and somewhat limited as I don't know japanese. All translations provided are from software packages, and this document contains Shift-JIS characters that you will need the appropriate language packs to view. Game Mechanics -------------- You can use either the mouse and arrow buttons, or the actual arrow keys to move. The right mouse button doesn't cancel out of menues, in merely hides them. Generally, exit will be the bottom choice. Enemies can drop potions, or you can buy them at potion shops. Weapons aren't bought and equipped separately, but are upgrades you can purchase at weapon shops. Characters ---------- (In order of appearance) ルージュ - Rouge - The protagonist, she's a tall, pink-haired warrior who uses a variety of sword techniques as her special attacks. She's a good fighter type character, and apparently the one the main bad guys are after. パフェ - Parfait - The small little cleric you rescue from marauders, she is physically weak and has various healing abilities. She also starts out at a much lower level than your other characters. She apparently likes women better than men. ジェノン - Jeinon - A handsome blonde-haired warrior who joins you after Rouge beats him in the tournament. Also a good melee fighter. セム - Shem - A red-haired witch who joins the party in the third town. She is already a high level when you get her and has powerful offensive magic. ディズ - Dizu - The fifth and final character, I guess. I haven't gotten this character yet. Special Attacks --------------- All special attacks consume MP Rouge: キッス・スラッシャー - Kiss Slasher - Rouge strikes for about 2x normal damage. (25 MP) ライトニング・アタック - Lightning Attack - Rouge jumps into the air and hits all enemies for about 2x normal damage (60 MP) シャイン・ブレイク - Chain Break - Not sure at all... (125 MP) シャイニング・クラッシュ - Shining Crash - Unknown (Haven't got it) Parfait: いたいのいたいのとんでけ - Fly-away wish - Heals 50 HP (5 MP) だるまさんがころんだ - Dharma Collapse - Attempts to put one enemy to sleep (25 MP) ふぁいといっぱつ - Cure Poison - Removes the poison status effect from one ally (10 MP) げんきをだして - Remove ? - おしおきっ！ - Push out ? - げんきがいちばん！ - Remove most ? - てんばつ！ - Punishment - みんなでげんきっ！ - Everybody ? - Jeinon: ダンシング・スラスト - Dance Thrust - Hits one enemy multiple times for about 2x normal damage (20 MP) ムーンライト・ダンス - Moonlight Dance - Hits all enemies multiple times for about 2x normal damage (40 MP) トルネード・スラッシュ - Tornado Slash - Unknown (Haven't got it) イリュージョン・ステップ - Illusion Step - Unknown (Haven't got it) Shem: ミスティック・ボルト - Misfortune Bolt - Heavy magic damage to one enemy (5 MP) パラライズ - Paparazzu - Inflicts some kind of status ailment (Sleep?) (10 MP) フラッシュ・ブラスト - Flash Blast - Heavy magic damage to all enemies (20 MP) ヒートアップ・ウェポン - Weapon Heat - Increased damage for one friendly character (40 MP) プロテクト・フィールド - Protection Field - Boosts the defense of one friendly character (60 MP) スピリチュアル・アロー - Spiritual Arrow - Unknown (Haven't got it) Combat Menu ----------- (In the order they appear on the menu:) 攻撃 - Attack (Physically) 魔法 - Magic (Includes special non-magical attacks) 防御 - Defend アイテム - Use Item 逃走 - Flee Potions ------- (In the order they appear on the menu:) ビホの実 - Fruit of Biho (Restores 10 HP) 元気丸 - Fine Potion (Restores 50 HP) 回復全快丸 - Complete Heal Potion (Restores HP to max) お気楽極楽 - Comfortable Paradise (Restores 10 MP) 魔法の仁丹 - Magic Essence 魔神の清水 - Magical Water (Restores MP to max) 血清ＸＸ - Serum XX (Cures poison) カフェインＪ - Caffeine J (Awakens sleeping characters) 精神根性注入薬 - Holy Nature Medicine Walkthrough ----------- Rouge sets off by herself from her home town in search of... well, since I can't read japanese there's not a lot of plot spoilers. Anyway, there's one way you can move to our of town, so head towards the arena town to the left. You'll stop at the halfway point, where there is a forest dungeon. The enemies here can be pretty difficult until you level, so level to at least 5 before you explore it. You may have to run from multiple enemy encounters early on. Just make your way through the forest to the NW corner, this game doesn't appear to have random chests in unexplored corners. As you approach the NW corner, you'll find a blonde girl (Parfait) being assaulted by 3 brigands. Select the bottom (3rd) interaction to start combat and rescue her. Kill one brigand at a time, they shouldn't be too difficult, especially if you're a high level and/or brought healing potions. If you lose, you get a hentai scene where they rape Rouge, and it's game over. If you win, Parfait will join your party, although she'll be low level. Exiting the forest, you can now proceed to the arena city. Once there, visit both bars. In the normal bar, you should encounter Jeinon, who'll piss of Rouge and you'll have to leave. In the other bar, you'll see a woman with a slave girl, after which you'll leave. Buy some Complete Heal Potions and possibly upgrade your weapons, then head to the inn and sleep. For a while, each time you sleep here there will be a lesbian scene between Parfait and Rouge. As there are several of these and they use the same graphics, they can get quit annoying. The next morning, head to the area entrance and you'll enter the contest. There will be several opponents which you must fight alone, enemies A,B,C, Jeinon and Dark Knight in that order. Rest between each day and replenish your heal potions if necessary. None of the enemies requires any special tactics. If you lose any of the first four fights, Rouge will awaken tied up to find Parfait sucking off her captors in exchange for her freedom. After they release her, the Dark Knight will confront her on the street. If you lose to him, you get Bad Ending 3, where Rouge becomes a sex slave of the dark lord. I'm not sure what happens if you win, as he is much stronger than the opponents you presumably recently lost to. I imagine you continue. Win all the arena fights and you should have a rather large amount of gold which will come in handy. Proceed to the next town, at the mid point, Jeinon will join you. When you arrive at the next town, go to the east side, and you'll come across Shem who has blown up her house. After talking to her, she'll join your party, and you'll automatically go to the forest in the east. Don't worry about this, you can still exit and return to the town normally to use the Inn and purchase power-ups. The enemies in this forest a pretty tough, and some can poison. Bring Serum XX and use Shem's Flash Blast to cut through them. You'll find the boss of this level assaulting a silver haired fairy in one of the NW dead-ends of the map. The boss there has an attack that can put all your characters to sleep. I haven't beat him yet, so that's where this walkthrough ends for now.
