Card Busters 2 is the second game of a trilogy of small doujin PC-98 RPGs released by F-88, whose website is actually still active, although the group hasn't appeared to have done anything since 2005 or so. Sadly, the games are not available for download on that page. In any case, it has very nice art, but is kind of a pain to play. You are Milil, our blue-haired protagonist, in a game that seems oddly devoid of cards. Combat is unavoidable, and extremely simplistic (attack/defend/run, etc) it is also very common.
