Based on the popular (and probably worst of the generation) mecha series Macross, this game certainly enjoys great art values. It's a rather slick TBS where you control various ships and mecha in their battle to defend earth. The user interface is nice and not overly complex, you can still probably play the game without knowing Japanese. You should, really, who doesn't enjoy a stirring space battle around Uranus in the gritty future of... the 90's.MobyGames has a little more detail here.
