The
sequel to the first game, Zavas II is a significant upgrade on both graphics and sound. It also features a lengthy animated opening… followed by one of the longest character creation… things, I've ever seen. You go to a god for reincarnation, pick one of three elements, then go through your entire childhood, starting with the local old man tossing you into a pool (wiggle the mouse in the general area to swim). All the stats are essentially mini-games at different points of your life, all this before you finally get to the starting village.
Controls are via the keyboard and mouse, although both are pretty sensitive. The peppermint elf girl who pops up unsolicited is the game menu, just right click to exit if necessary. MobyGames has a short blurb on the gameplay in general.
